Mind Matters Memphis provides clinical neuropsychological evaluations for adult patients with stroke/neurovascular accidents, traumatic brain injury (TBI), epilepsy, or other neurocognitive concerns. We partner with patients to optimize their cognitive wellness.
Patients can expect a comprehensive evaluation of their cognitive and emotional concerns. Dr. Gould will follow-up with a twofold response:

Recommendations to be implemented by the referring provider

Recommendations to be implemented by the patient, including optional connections to community organizations and resources

Clinical Assessments
Comprehensive assessments of brain function (or changes in function) for patients with stroke/neurovascular accidents, traumatic brain injury (TBI), epilepsy, and more. Clinical assessments are used to:
Aid in the diagnosis of neurologic disorders
Document the degree of cognitive and emotional/personality change due to a neurologic injury
Set a treatment plan for cognitive rehabilitation
Establish a new functional baseline and inform decision making
Track cognition over time
Evaluate the cognitive side effects of medications
Provide family/caregiver support
Forensic Evaluations
Objective, independent evaluations for legal matters pertaining to cognitive dysfunction. Services include:
